It’s something you build with the right guidance and practice.
PEERS® (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) is an evidence-based program that translates social science into practical, real-world strategies for building friendships and relationships.
At S Groups, our certified providers deliver the PEERS® program with care and structure, combining it with additional evidence-based approaches to support teens and adults as they build confidence, connection, and independence.
Real, research-based steps to starting conversations, making and keeping friends, handling teasing, and managing disagreements calmly.
PEERS® is one of the only social-skills programs studied for nearly 20 years with consistent results for teens and adults worldwide.
Each week covers specific social topics through videos, modeling, and guided practice. Progress feels achievable, not abstract.
Practice newly learned skills in group sessions for immediate application, generalization, and real-time feedback from supportive coaches.
Homework, feedback loops, and accountability help participants use new skills outside the session, in class, at work, dating, and daily life.
By practicing in a safe, supportive environment, clients gain real self-confidence and the ability to connect authentically, not just perform socially.
Every client starts with a $99 Intake Assessment, a 60-minute session where we learn about your goals and create your personalized path. Many clients combine both: 1:1 coaching now to prep, then a peer group when it starts.
Both paths start with your intake, where we make recommendations for specific groups and/or private coaches.
All S Groups coaches are trained and certified to teach PEERS® with fidelity to the original curriculum.
Choose from peer groups, private coaching, or combined support plans tailored to your pace.
Works for people with autism, ADHD, or social anxiety, and for anyone who finds social situations hard. No diagnosis required.
Join from home. No commute, no waiting rooms, no stress.
After participating in S Groups’ peer group sessions with Katie, I noticed significant improvements in my social skills within 2–3 months. I gained more self-confidence, improved my self-esteem, and became more independent. I also enhanced my ability to enter and exit conversations, find sources of friends, and use humor appropriately. The structured curriculum, homework, and personal connection with the coach were especially beneficial.

PEERS® stands for the Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills. It is the world’s most researched social-skills curriculum. PEERS® breaks down the social concepts needed to make and keep friends into concrete, step-by-step strategies. Topics include how to find accepting sources of friends, initiating and maintaining conversations, and how to handle arguments and disagreements.
At S Groups, PEERS® is the foundation of our Social Solutions, Dating, and Private Coaching programs. Our coaches are PEERS® certified, and use its research-backed methods alongside principles from CBT and ACT to help clients learn, practice, and apply social skills that last.
PEERS® is effective for teens and adults who want to improve their confidence, communication, and friendships, whether they are neurodiverse, socially anxious, or simply looking to feel more comfortable in social settings.
No. S Groups is an independent organization. Our coaches are PEERS® certified providers, meaning they have completed formal training and certification directly through the PEERS® Clinic. We are not affiliated with, sponsored, or endorsed by PEERS® or its creators.
S Groups peer groups meet weekly. Social Solutions and the Social Coaching Group for Caregivers run for 12 weeks, and Dating runs for 6 weeks. Your $99 intake assessment confirms which program is the right fit.
PEERS® has dedicated tracks for teens, young adults, and adults, and has been studied across all three. At S Groups, we run separate cohorts by life-stage so the practice scenarios match what each group is actually navigating socially.
Yes. Our private coaching program covers the same PEERS® curriculum content in a 1:1 format with a certified coach. It is useful if you prefer a private setting, want to start before a group launches, or need a customized pace.
Whether you or your loved one is interested in a peer group or private coaching, every S Groups client begins with a $99 Intake Assessment.
