Therapist (Part Time): Fully Remote

This is an opportunity to join the S Groups team a part time employee, for an estimated 10 hours per week. There may be an opportunity to grow into a role as a full time employee.

About Us: S Groups is an online social skills company dedicated to teaching teens and adults social skills and coping mechanisms for social anxiety. We specialize in running peer groups and providing private coaching sessions for individuals with autism and related disorders. Our mission is to empower individuals to navigate social interactions with confidence and ease.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced part-time therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in working with teens and adults with special needs, specifically autism, with expertise in areas such as social skills training, ABA, special education, acceptance and commitment therapy, behavioral therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). A Bachelor’s degree is required and a Master’s degree in a related field is preferred, along with experience working with the autism and neurodiverse population.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct online peer groups and private coaching sessions focused on social skills development and coping strategies for social anxiety.
  • Work remotely and independently to deliver high-quality sessions while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in accommodating the diverse needs of clients.
  • Provide administrative support, including conducting initial consultations, responding to emails, and answering phone calls as needed.
  • Utilize problem-solving skills to address challenges and troubleshoot technical issues effectively.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience working with neurodiverse teens and adults, including people with autism.
  • Comfortable working remotely and proficient in using Zoom and Google products for communication and session delivery.
  • Responsible, reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Resourceful, cooperative, and possessing an easy-going personality.
  • Certified UCLA PEERS® provider, adolescent, young adult, or both (preferred).
  • Access to reliable internet connection and a functioning computer.
  • Ability to present a resume and two letters of recommendation.

Compensation:

  • $35 – $50 per hour, depending on experience
