Core Values

Our social skills training program is built on six core values.

Community

The safety of the groups is always the number one priority. We aim to create a supportive community where everyone feels valued, accepted, and encouraged. Being a part of a small, supportive group where everyone is working on similar social goals creates a sense of belonging.

Authenticity

We promote an environment that allows individuals to be true to themselves. We do not promote masking, or camouflaging in order to fit in, and rather will work with you to embrace who you are and how you think so that you can live a life as your true authentic self.

Evidence Based

We teach ecologically valid and evidence-based practices that have been shown to enhance social skills, promote social engagement, and learn how to cope with negative feelings, thoughts, and situations.

Strength Based

We focus on the positive attributes of the individual and the group, rather than the negative. Our mission is to teach you ecologically valid social skills and coping techniques so that you can reach your personal social goals.

Empathy

We value empathy as the foundation of our work, recognizing and understanding the unique perspectives and experiences of neurodiverse individuals and their families. We strive to foster a compassionate and supportive environment for everyone we work with.

Inclusivity

We are an inclusive and welcoming environment for LGBTQIA+ clients. We value and embrace the diversity, identities, and self discovery of all of our clients and their families, recognizing that every person has unique strengths and challenges. We strive to create an inclusive community where everyone feels welcome, accepted, respected, and valued.
