Friendship Masterclass Format

The Friendship Masterclass is designed to teach evidence-based social skills to anyone interested in learning more, including teens, adults, families, practitioners, and educators. This is an opportunity to practice newly learned skills through small group behavioral rehearsal with direct coaching from trained therapists.

Online Zoom Meeting

This 6-hour masterclass (including a lunch break) is conducted 100% online and can be attended from anywhere.

Engaging Presentation

Learn specific skills through didactic instruction with question and response, visuals, and role play demonstrations.

Role Playing Social Skills

Attendees are divided into breakout groups to practice social skills with a highly trained therapist.

Topics of Instruction

Presented by Heather Young, MA, BCBA

Heather Young is the founder and CEO of S Groups. She is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA, #1-13-14211) and a certified PEERSⓇ provider trained by the Semel Institute at UCLA. Heather earned her Masters degree in Special Education at San Francisco State University. She has over 17 years experience working with people with autism of all ages, their families, team members, therapists, schools, and communities to provide meaningful change for her clients’ lives.

Cancellations

No cancellations will be provided for masterclasses. If you are unable to attend the masterclass for any reason, you will receive a credit for a future masterclass, and you will have access to a recording of the masterclass you missed. 

Video Recording

All masterclasses are video recorded and made available to attendees online. By attending the masterclass, you agree to be recorded and to have the recording distributed to all attendees of the masterclass.
